What We Are Responsible for
The teaching ministry is responsible for coordinating all the educational activities of
the church; with the purpose to make believers well-grounded in the word of God
and be equipped for ministry to the body of Christ. The departments in the ministry
are as follows:
Sunday School
The department coordinates the Adult Sunday School class sessions which hold
every Sunday at 10:00am; with the objective to help members grow in the word of
God. The Sunday school lessons are tailored to help members understand better the
tenets of the Christian faith and establish a personal relationship with God. It
provides a platform for equipping and training members for various leadership roles
in the body of Christ.
Believers Class
This class is open to the new converts and newcomers who have not attended any
biblical training since their conversion. It is a foundational class for the Believers to
help them understand the fundamentals of Christian faith and the doctrinal emphasis
of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. It is a platform for ensuring members are
well equipped and spiritually mature before joining the workforce
Baptismal Class
This is a mandatory class for all Believers yet to be water baptized by immersion.
The purpose is to help Believers understand better the reasons for water Baptism as
part of the Christian faith.
Workers in Training Class
This is a training class for prospective RCCG workers. On successful completion, the
students are interviewed to discover their spiritual gifts and then posted to the
Ministries with the approval of the Parish Pastor.
